Third Wheel.

It's my summer break from school in the Philippines, thus I have "nothing" to do. My family is always out with their normal business while I'm left to do as I please -- at home.

After catching up with every single episode I've missed with my favorite TV shows, eating whatever organic food my mother has got stocked up, and sleeping to my heart's content, I knew I had to get out of the house before I "compromise" and actually open a book. Haha

So, the cute little dumplings, my brother and his girlfriend Mariel, decided to pick me up yesterday at around 6 o'clock in the evening (after several sending several subliminal texts) to alleviate me of my restlessness, in the middle of their date day. Yeah, I can be shameless like that, but they totally don't mind. I love them to death.

I haven't seen Mariel since the last time I was in Minnesota, and I've absolutely missed her. She's like a little ray of sunshine, and when speaking of sunshine, her combo with my brother is always pretty summer's day. Or a squeaky toy, I can't decide.

I love her to death.

Now, I've been using my iPhone as my primary camera lately, and I thought I'd dig up my SLR from the closet and use it. Per request, they took me to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. It's been a while, and that place is always picture perfect no matter what season.

My brother and Mariel are not getting married or anything like that, lol. I just started taking pictures of them and they quickly obliged.

They took a photo of me too. And by "they" this was Paolo holding the camera and Mariel telling him what to do. Haha

After the Sculpture Garden we headed off to Mall of America to hang out where our fingers didn't numb up every couple minutes.

Well, what do we have here? Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Minnesota! One of my favorite coffee shops in the Philippines that originated from California. The last time I was in a CBTL store was when I was in Manila last October. Their Soy Matcha Green Tea latte is better than Starbucks' in my opinion, and that is presently my favorite non-coffee Starbucks drink. Kindly open in Iloilo City too soon, please?

So I didn't completely ditch my iPhone camera for the day. I'm really thankful for this handy dandy photography tool; given the proper usage and right apps, it makes me happy enough to forget my SLR altogether.

But hey, I promise to use my SLR more often.

Off to brainstorm something I could do. I think I'm slowly giving in to pretty pages, the lovely words... Oh, Prince Caspian is calling my name.

- E :) Haha
